Confusing life’s harshness through analogy, mixing
only two poems our identity and lable pretensions
of time preserved:
fragmentary upon silence.

At finally
memorable ours grief now
deems us.

common
come immediately to
curse
translation

that uses a more impressive word in pro-verbal
pattern, banal lines
men will renounce.

Instead, he honours meaning in the world, in Toronto and, especially, being preserved.
